The key highlights from w/c 1st October 2017 included 90037 working a mail train from Shieldmuir to Warrington RMT dragging two class 325s. Also, 90048 was paired up with 86604 this week for a couple of days, which worked a couple of intermodal trains to & from Coatbridge.
In other news, 90006 went to Bounds Green at the end of the week for tyre turning, but the GA90 went under its own power, which is quite unusual. Also, 90013 re-entered traffic with GA following a planned overhaul and 90041 received new wheelsets. Finally, there were a number of 90s in and out of traffic this week, which included 90001, 90021, 90026, 90029, 90039 & 90042.
At the time of writing 90007 could be found out of service at Crewe for a planned overhaul and 90041 remains at Leeds Midland Road. Other 90s out of service include 90001, 90021, 90026, 90029, 90039, 90042 and 90047..
