The key highlights from w/c 16th July 2017 included 90045 & 90048 dragging 90043 & 90042 from Coatbridge to Basford Hall on 4M49 after failing on 4S44 the day before. In addition, 90013 ran into trouble too with loss of power at Marks Tey, which resulted in the train being initially rescued by 66418 and then 90002.
In other news, 90020 made its debut for Virgin East Coast at the start of the week, which included 2 and out back trips to Leeds and 90001 was released from Toton this week. Finally, there were a number of 90s in and out of traffic, which included 90001, 90013, 90018, 90021, 90026 & others.
At the time of writing 90001 could be found at Bescot after being released from Toton on the 21/7/17. In addition, 90018 has now been stored in the WQAA pool. There are several other 90s out of traffic too. Nothing else to report.
