The key highlights from w/c 11th February included 90002 being released from Crewe TMD following a planned overhaul and returning to Crown Point albeit dragged by 57002. In the same week, 90001 went to Bounds Green for tyre turning and was also dragged, but by 37425.
In other news, 90039 entered service for Virgin Trains East Coast and 90034 returned to Crewe via Doncaster for an exam. Also, 90042 was used on out and return intermodal freight between Basford Hall and Coatbridge towards the end of the week vice-booked traction. Finally, there were a number of 90s in and out of traffic, which included 90001, 90002, 90020, 90026 and 90044..
At the time of writing 90002 had returned to Crown Point following a planned overhaul, but had not been released back into traffic. Other 90s out of service include 90020, 90021, 90026, 90034 and 90044. Nothing else to report.
