The key highlights from w/c 7th May included 90047 working the Lowland sleeper via the NLL, ECML and Edinburgh at the start of the week due to planned engineering work on the WCML north of Preston.
In other news, pairs of Freightliner 90s including 90042 & 90045; 90044 & 90048; 90046 & 90048 as well as 90045 & 90044 could be found working various freight trains this week. Also, planned engineering work continued on the GEML and 90002 was involved in an operating incident. Finally, there were a number of 90s in & out of traffic for all or part of the week.
At the time of writing 90001 & 90014 could be found out of traffic at Crewe TMD after moving there on the 6/5/17. Also, other 90s stopped include 90020, 90021, 90026, 90037, 90041, 90043 and 90048. Nothing else to report..
